Buzz is going viral.

7,600 GitHub stars to over 25,000 in a fortnight.

If you go anywhere near the AI corner of the internet, you've seen it.

Agents are the new thing. And the same three questions keep landing in my inbox……

  • Do I actually need one?

  • Can I even use one for TikTok Shop?

  • And how do I set it up in under 5 minutes?

I wrote the whole thing up here:

Short version below 👇

Do you need them?

No. You want them.

Straight answer: no. You don't need them.

But think of them like fast food.

You don't need fast food. You need healthy food…..

But you want fast food.

Agents are exactly that. Nobody needs them…… but everybody's wants to get rid of their daily admin.

Because the mundane stuff disappears.

Collecting the metrics. Pulling last month's numbers into something a human can read. Building next quarter's strategy off the back of them.

None of that is the interesting part of your job. It's just the part that eats your Tuesday.

These won't replace your staff.

They make your staff better at the job they're already doing.

Can you use them for TikTok Shop?

Yes and no

Yes, because the connection is the easy bit.

Point it at a TikTok Shop API and it pulls everything on its own. GMV, orders and AOV. Creator and affiliate performance. Your live versus video split. Ad spend and ROAS. Sample requests, refund rates, shop health score.

No export, no spreadsheet, no waiting on anyone.

And no, because of the thing nobody tells you:

Your agent is a genius with no brain.

It has no context. It doesn't know your margins. It doesn't know that one SKU is a loss leader, that a creator ghosted you in March, or what you promised on last Thursday's call.

So yes, it can absolutely make decisions for you.

Just remember every decision it makes is based on what it knows about your brand……

And right now it knows nothing.

Giving it a brain is your job. That isn't a five minute job. That's a full-time one.

Which is exactly why this belongs with your team, not instead of them.

Your people ARE the brain. You're just handing them better tools.

So how do you set it up?

Five minutes, or an hour. Your call.

Two ways in.

The five minute version. Download it, point it at a workspace, add an agent. Done.

It'll be clever, well spoken, and it'll know absolutely nothing about your shop. Do it anyway. It proves the thing works before you add anything that can break.

The thorough version. About an hour. This is the one that actually reads your shop.

One recommendation before you start.

Use a platform that already holds your TikTok Shop API. Reacher, Cruva or EUKA.

Then Buzz talks straight to that platform, and it can see everything relevant in your shop without you wiring up a single endpoint yourself.

That's the whole trick, and it's the bit people get backwards.

You're not connecting Buzz to TikTok.

You're connecting Buzz to the thing that's already connected to TikTok.

That's it for this week 👊

Would you want your own TikTok Shop AI Agent?

It will manage all the repetitive work in TikTok Shop
